The quality of education in Brazil is directly linked to the appreciation and training of teachers. Faced with challenges such as learning gaps, lack of continuing education, and difficulties in implementing the BNCC (National Common Core Curriculum), strengthening those on the front lines of education is essential to guarantee a more equitable and effective education. Nova Escola plays a fundamental role in producing content and training for educators throughout the country, encouraging innovation and transforming teacher learning.
Although not part of the Education Now! Coalition, its work directly contributes to the implementation of the BNCC (National Common Core Curriculum) and to teacher training, ensuring that educational policies translate into effective classroom practices.

Created in 2015 with the support of the Lemann Foundation, the Association is the heir to the magazine of the same name, which originated in 1986 at the Victor Civita Foundation.
Today, it is a digital platform accessed by approximately 3 million people per month, producing news reports, self-instructional courses, training programs, literacy level surveys, and lesson plans (available on our website and also through a WhatsApp interface using artificial intelligence (AI) to empower Brazilian teachers).
