About the project
The institution aims to rescue, preserve, and promote Afro-Brazilian and diaspora memory as a way to confront and combat structural racism and racial and social inequalities in the territory. The intention is for Black memory to be told and protagonized by Afro-Brazilians and those from the diaspora.
