This environmental education and social engagement project is anchored in the theme of the 4Rs – reduce, recycle, reuse, and rethink consumption – based on popular environmental communication actions and the maintenance and strengthening of the Dunas de Itaúnas Community Radio, the community nursery in the village of Itaúnas, the VILA Film Club, and educational activities with students and resident families, as well as collaboration with the Municipal Government for selective waste collection, and the production and distribution of handcrafted recycled trash cans.
