Institute I Do Not Accept Corruption (INAC)

About the project

The Institute I Do Not Accept Corruption (INAC) is a national, non-partisan, non-profit civil association founded in 2015. The organization was conceived by the current Public Prosecutor, Roberto Livianu, who spearheaded the organization of a group of thirty-two citizens, aiming to concentrate structured and focused efforts on the intelligent and strategic fight against corruption. INAC is built every day by people with diverse experiences and backgrounds, giving us a multidisciplinary vocation. We use Law, Political Science, Statistics, and Communication as our main working tools. We operate on four fronts: research, public policy, education, and social mobilization, and we use concrete data to conduct in-depth, critical, and qualified discussions of laws and bills, in order to contribute to the construction and improvement of efficient rules in addressing the misuse of public resources. We disseminate knowledge about corporate and state compliance, instruments for monitoring public power, transparency and access to information, among others, with the goal of reversing the culture of corruption that has prevailed in Brazil for so long.
