Sustainable development and the strengthening of philanthropy in the country motivate the choices and support of private social investment by the Movimento Bem Maior. Therefore, we reinforced our national network of operations with the arrival of 6 new organizations .

Feeding Good; City of Boys; Mano Down Institute; KITE; Third Sector Observatory and Instituto Península become part of the team of initiatives that receive our financial and technical investment to expand the impact of their actions.

With this new stage, MBM adds support to more than 200 organizations, mobilizing more than R$110 million in resources in 4 years of operation. The constant expansion of this work aims to articulate networks and resources in favor of positive social transformation in the country.

Support for Alimentando o Bem, Cidade dos Meninos and Instituto Mano Down is part of the “ Focus ” pillar of MBM, which promotes, via strategic philanthropy, social actions aimed at social justice and the promotion of equal opportunities.

The other three organizations are supported through the “ Impulso ” pillar of MBM, which aims to strengthen the philanthropy ecosystem and democratize private social investment in Brazil. Find out more about each of them:

Feeding the Good

The Alimentando o Bem Institute acts as a catalyst for productive inclusion and sustainable local development, with women as the main pillar of transformation. Through projects dedicated to the professional training of women in vulnerable situations , the organization seeks to develop solutions for the socioeconomic development of the Perequê community and nearby regions, in the municipality of Guarujá, on the coast of São Paulo. The objective is that these solutions can be replicated in other communities across Brazil.

City of Boys

Cidade dos Meninos is an institution that is part of the Divina Providência System and offers full-time education, as well as housing, food, dental care and cultural, sporting, leisure and professional training activities to vulnerable adolescents in Belo Horizonte , in Minas Gerais. The support of Movimento Bem Maior aims to promote social programs and actions for young people, promoting social justice and equal opportunities in the region.

Mano Down Institute

The Mano Down Institute aims to break cycles of exclusion, social invisibility and lack of opportunities by promoting the enhanced development of people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities . Through the Enhanced Development Program, the organization works at all stages of life, providing transformations and generating a positive impact on society.

KITE

The Pipa Initiative's mission is to contribute to democratizing access to private social investment in Brazil. The organization seeks to build conditions so that philanthropic resources are accessible to organizations, collectives and movements based in favela and peripheral areas , in a broad and equitable manner in terms of race, gender and class. The support that PIPA provides to its audiences strengthens the philanthropy ecosystem and helps to decentralize private resources to enable actions and projects for those on the front line.

Third Sector Observatory

The Observatory is a content agency that seeks to give voice to issues focusing on social issues little explored by the media , covering areas such as education, health, human rights, culture, and the environment. The organization seeks to bring to light problems, challenges, gaps and solutions that are often left out of the traditional press agenda. This work increases the visibility and reach of strategic philanthropy organizations and values, making the themes reach a wider and increasingly aware public.

Peninsula Institute

Through the documentary series Arte de Doar, promoted by Instituto Península, produced by Zazen Produções and directed by Marcos Prado, it seeks to disseminate the culture of donation in our society. The audiovisual pieces portray, through inspiring stories from several current personalities, the relationship between donor and beneficiary , demonstrating how this exchange is a two-way street.

The Greater Good Movement is proud to join forces with initiatives and we are excited to promote these causes together. We remain firm in our mission to strengthen philanthropy in Brazil , connecting organizations, mobilizing resources and driving social transformation across the country. Together, we can make a difference and build a fairer and more inclusive future.
