Currently, the number of female leaders throughout Brazil has been growing, and the result has been consolidating in recent times. It is no different at the head of the NGOs that Movimento Bem Maior helps. 57% are managed by women, who together contribute to social transformation in the locality. Today, the Greater Good Movement includes 38 social projects, in 15 states, throughout Brazil, operating in the areas: human rights, health, education, arts, accessibility and income generation, art and culture, environment and food security.
In celebration of International Women's Day, some of these NGO representatives met virtually this Monday, the 8th.
For Carola Matarazzo, executive director of Movimento Bem Maior , “the female role is strategic in transmitting values to future generations” . Carola believes that our duty as businesspeople and citizens at this time is to take care of people, as they are Brazil's greatest wealth.
However, when we talk about female leadership, there is a long way to go. One of the paths is network work linked to the strength of these women, as a possible way of transforming lives, creating opportunities and reducing inequalities.
