Movimento Bem Maior (MBM), a social organization that works to promote strategic philanthropy in Brazil, will have an exclusive space in the program of Expert XP 2022 – the largest investment festival in the world –, on August 4th, in São Paulo.
The executive director of MBM, Carola Matarazzo (photo), the co-founder of the movement and CEO of MRV Engenharia, Rubens Menin, will be with the founder of Rede Gerando Falcões, Edu Lyra, talking about the importance of Brazil having a culture of donation, as happens in some European countries and also in the United States. It will be an exhibition of ideas and results on the role of philanthropy as a social investment tool that contributes to reducing inequalities in the country.
MBM's participation will be a “pocket” edition of Legado, a series of meetings promoted by MBM that aims to encourage philanthropy to build a more inclusive society.
“Talking about philanthropy at an event that aims to transform the lives of Brazilians through financial education is a valuable opportunity to present to a qualified audience a broad view of the dimensions of the social challenges we face and how each of us can act to create opportunities for social transformation in Brazil”, highlights Carola.
Expert XP, an event recognized for bringing together big names in the financial ecosystem, promoted by XP Investimentos, is once again held in person and will also be broadcast free of charge, through an exclusive platform.
