The quote is from Elie Horn (Cyrela), founder of the Bem Maior Movement, in an interview with Folha de S.Paulo for the series "Cause of the Year: Donating is Transforming."
In the conversation, he shares his life story and his conviction that philanthropy is a moral duty, especially among businesspeople. The first Brazilian to join the Giving Pledge, Elie believes that donating during one's lifetime is a commitment to social justice and the future.
Since the creation of MBM, this vision has been realized, with over R$130 million mobilized and 250 organizations supported throughout the country.
