The Bem Maior Movement (MBM), a social organization that works to promote strategic philanthropy in Brazil, will have an exclusive space in the program of Expert XP 2022 – the world's largest investment festival – on August 4th, in São Paulo.
MBM's executive director, Carola Matarazzo (pictured), the movement's co-founder and CEO of MRV Engenharia, Rubens Menin, will be joined by the founder of Rede Gerando Falcões, Edu Lyra, to discuss the importance of Brazil developing a culture of giving, as is the case in some European countries and also in the United States. It will be an exposition of ideas and results regarding the role of philanthropy as a social investment tool that contributes to reducing inequalities in the country.
MBM's participation will be a "pocket" edition of Legado, a series of meetings promoted by MBM that aims to foster philanthropy for the construction of a more inclusive society.
“Speaking about philanthropy at an event that aims to transform the lives of Brazilians through financial education is a valuable opportunity to present a broad view to a qualified audience regarding the scope of the social challenges we face and how each of us can act to create opportunities for social transformation in Brazil,” highlights Carola.
Expert XP, an event recognized for bringing together big names in the financial ecosystem, promoted by XP Investimentos, is returning to in-person format and will also be streamed for free through an exclusive platform.
