Philanthropy in Focus at Estadão

A highlight was the appearance of Carola MB Matarazzo, executive director of the Bem Maior Movement, in Estadão, where philanthropy was given triple prominence. The interview, conducted by Sonia Racy on the Live Cenários program, a partnership between Estadão and Banco Safra, was initially released on YouTube and other audio channels.

The conversation generated two additional articles in the newspaper, providing essential data on philanthropy in Brazil and addressing the prospects for private social investment. The recognition went even further, occupying a full page in the Economy & Business section of Estadão.

Titled “Philanthropy Beyond the Numbers,” the January 16th editorial highlighted the importance of the third sector in reducing social inequalities, citing an interview with Carola Matarazzo. The key message shared was:
